There are great things happening at Cheremoya Elementary School!

Test scores have been leaping upward for the last four years. Class sizes are attractively small. The hallways are filled with laughter.

Nonetheless, public schools face a number of complicated challenges. Cheremoya needs our support. The "Friends Of Cheremoya" is a brand new, community-led group that believes supporting our local public school is both good for neighborhood kids and essential for the future prosperity of our area. We invite you to participate.

Together, we can ensure Cheremoya has the resources to:

  • Graduate well-rounded kids, with experiences rich in art, music, and sport
  • Establish a foundation for academic excellence and a life-long love of learning
  • Continue the improvements in standardized test scores by all student segments
  • Re-establish Cheremoya's status as a school that draws new families to our neighborhoods

Over the Summer of 2009 we will be refining the group's goals and developing specific plans for fundraising, volunteerism, and community involvement. Now is a perfect time to include your voice.
